    – how i reconize which files (quicktime) I have used in a project? or which ones I have been using in the last week? or last day?
    I need to clean up a bit…

    – how i reconize which clips I have used in a sequence?

    thanks

to match clips in the timeline hit the F key. it will show you the clip in the browser. Every sequence is different but in the browser it will show you when you last modifed the clip so that may help. you can also make each clip a master clip and put it in a seperate bin folder.

Wha? Just highlight the sequence in a bin and do a “find” (cmd+f) and choose “used clips.” Then you’ll have a bin of the used clips. A quick trick is to select all and label them a particular color. The labeled color will be repeated on all your clips in project bins.

Be careful if you’re using this trick to delete unused media however. It won’t acknowledge clips within nested sequences as “used.”
