How do you update adobe cc apps installed under EEA?
What a byzantine mess. Zero contact options enabled for adobe despite paying thousands of bucks. Zero instructions on how to do so. Not in the EEA FAQ, not anywhere that I can find. It’s mind boggling, really.
Only semi-related instructions are how to uninstall and reinstall everything. Not even sure that would work since I see no indication in package manager that it’s not just regenerating the same version I already installed. Is spending hours uninstalling and reinstalling everything just to test whether it actually updates really my only option?
I literally just want to update photoshop since they added the oil paint filter back in.
I tried just downloading and installing the update, but get message that admin (me) has disabled updates. I assume this is the result of the installation type where it doesn’t need to reauthorize during the term, so it can be offline for a year.
I tried the trick of moving the AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat file to trick it into allowing the update, but no dice.
