  • How do you search phrases in FCP help

Posted by Elijah Lynn on August 19, 2008 at 8:10 pm

I am just at the beginning of my FInal Cut Pro learning. Everytime I try to search for a phrase in the help file it just searches for the last word yped, quotes don’t affect the results.

Any tips. I am sure this is possible.

    Thanks,

    Elijah

What phrase are you looking for?

Wierd. It works now. I enabled whole words only and then disabled it and it works wonders with quotes!

[Elijah Lynn] “Wierd. It works now.”

Umm, well, you have to be quite literal with Preview. If you misspell “weird” you will not find anything. It’s unforgiving.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
