How do you reconnect the render files of a project?

I transfered a hard drive to a colleague to finish editing on a different computer. When he opened up the project file the project had to find the media again which it did with no problems. All media was reconnected and it never asked about the render files. But when the timeline opened up it was all red looking for all the Boris Red key renders for the green screen work.

i can see the render folder in the exact same directory that it was in so why can’t fcp find it?

    Thanks

Sometimes FCP just can’t find the folder w/ the automated system. You’ll have to navigate to it directly, or re-render

FCP is a nightmare when it come to reconnecting render files, it should be sorted out quickly as it leads to major frustration.
