I was using sony vegas, and I wanted to move a selection of clips, so I could add a 30 second title to the beginning. How could I do this without loosing all of my transitions?

Select all. Left click on one selection and drag to the rigght 30 seconds. Add your new material. One of many ways.

You could also turn Ripple Edit (Ctrl+L) on with the All Tracks, markers, and Regions option selected and then just move the first event and all of the events on all of the tracks should move with it. Then turn Ripple Edit off again (it is dangerous to leave on).

Yeah, I’ve still got the powder burns on my foot from last time I left “ripple edit” selected. 🙂
