How do you make a picture be on the back of another picture in a 3D environment?
How do you make a picture be on the back of another picture using 3D and make it spin and move in tandem with the other as if it where pasted to the other side of it.
Does this require some fancy pick whip work or what?
Is there a easy way? -

Use the filter ‘Card Dance’. Make sure you are using 1 row and 1 column in the settings for the filter. Change the back layer to the layer of your choice, and you use the transform properties in the effect window to rotate it and make it look 3D.

I would suggest using real After Effects 3d space as opposed to Card Dance. Turn on the 3d switch for the front and back layers and get them in the same position. Move the back layer .5 pixels behind the front layer. Then parent the back layer to the front layer.

Don’t forget to flip the back-layer by setting scale to -100,100 or by rotating 180
