how do you increase a preset scale?
Posted by Darren Fetzer on July 11, 2008 at 8:44 amso i have a 1/144 scale model kit that i want to rescale to 1/100. how would i do this in photoshop or illustrator?

July 11, 2008 at 9:10 pmWhat do you mean you have a scale model? Do you mean a picture of a model? You just scale in in photoshop. Beyond that, I’m not sure what you mean.

July 11, 2008 at 10:43 pmi have a scale 1/144 model kit and i plan to scan the parts and have them resized and made larger to scale 1/100. i need to know how make the scale 1/144 into the large scale size 1/100. i know that 1/144 is %100 the size image and i want to be able to increase the size of the image without any guess work.
mmmm i know, i’ll increase the current scale by 44% i should be able to get the size i want. does that sound right?

July 14, 2008 at 2:39 pmAs long as you scan everything at 100% and scale them the smae percentage, you should be ok. As far as you math? I have no idea.
