how do you do the NEW hp commercails??

I believe Derrick was responding to the fact that the graphics keep pace with his hands and he’s correct that they probably tracked it.
As to how they created all those cool graphics, it depends on which part of which commercial. From the ones that I’ve seen-most of it could be done in AE with a little help from Photoshop. The commercial keeps the 2D look of the graphics, so in some ways it’s easier to replicate. But the bulk of it is just their motion graphics creation. There’s one comm. that has a spaceship, that’s done with a 3D program, then it could be imported into AE. I haven’t watched the trades mags for this one, but I’m guessing that HP probably cut this on a Discreet system away.
