  • How do you change a projects settings?

I have just finished cutting a pilot for a mate in my kitchen, come to export it and I find I have it letterboxed. I started to project with the wrong settings, how can I change the project settings from DV PAL to DV PAL Anamorphic?

I have tried copying the timeline into a new sequence but it doesn’t make any difference, it only makes the pictures smaller.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

I geuss you only have to go to timeline settings “sequence” – “settings” or push command 0. And then check the box anamorphic.

    – Open a new Anamorphic sequence.
    – Copy and paste all from the 4×3 to the 16×9 sequence.
    – Select all the clips in the new sequence.
    – Click Com-Alt-V Remove attributes: Basic Motion/Distort.
the Anamorphic footage should fit now in the Anamorphic canvas.
