    How do I use After Effects CS4 3rd party plugin for Premiere CS4?

    Would it be a simple matter of copying the .aex file from the After Effects plugin folder to whatever folder Premiere uses for its plugins?

    Or do I possibly open the plugin using Premiere but somehow navgiating to the After Effects folder where the plugin exists?

    Just guessing here..

    Many AE effects won’t work in Premiere. Some because they involve masking, other will work but crash Premiere. So yes, you can drag them all and see what shows up, but be aware that some may only work for a while…
