  • How Do I Use A Custom Particle in a Text to Particle Dissolve

Posted by Brian Burkovich on November 22, 2013 at 3:42 am

My goal is to have my logo text dissolve into bubbles that would come from a custom particle developed by a PNG. I’ve watched so many tutorials and gone over several readings as well as muddled through 9 or 10 failed experiments.

I have succeeded at being able to have my logo dissolve into bubbles consisting of the same colors in the logo but not into the bubbles that are from the PNG. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

What particle system are you using? How have you set up the custom particles?

    Hi John,

Thanks so much for getting back to me but I finally figured. It’s funny… I had an idea just before I was going to reply to you with all the details and POW! I got it.

Some times it really pays to step back for a while and let your brain work I guess lol. Either that or some of us are just a little slower than others ROFL

    Thanks again for your time.
