How do I take specific things out of an image?
Hello, ok, have a quick deadline coming up, can someone help me? I have a hand drawn scan that has a bunch of objects drawn on it. using the quick selection tool I cut out all the images but how do I now take each of those objects all on the same layer and put them on their own layers? and also, how can I make the size of the canvas match that of each of the objects so I can export for After Effects?

Once you have made your selections, you can copy them to a new layer with Ctrl J.
Changing the canvas size goes via Ctrl Alt C.

I figured out how to make a selection a layer, but is there an easy way to take that selection once its a layer and have the canvas automatically resize to that image’s dimensions? this is a very annoying task that I will be complaining about to this company I’m doing this for 🙂

You can make a action for that. Then you can run all your files in one just a few mouse-clicks.
