  • How do I show all the compositions in an After Effects project?

Posted by Paul Boone on November 21, 2014 at 3:35 pm

I’m going through old projects that were shot by people who don’t work for my employer anymore and I’m navigating through through their projects looking for certain pieces.

I want to be able to open an After Effects project, and show a list of all the compositions, rather than searching through folders to find them all.

    Thanks!

    Hi Paul,

Just type comp in the top search bar above the asset pool list. That should expand all the folders to reveal just the composites

This is not correct, unless all your comps happened to be named comp-something.

    Unless I’m missing something here?
