How do I save a particle emitter for use in other projects
i just spent 2 hours tweaking a particle emitter and want to save it for use in other projects. I cant seem to figure out how to save it! In the manual it says to drag the emitter to the favorites folder but what do i drag? i started with Basic Smoke but it is not Basic smoke any more so if i drag basic smoke to the favorites i get what i started with and not what i want to save!

Howdy,
Rename your particle emitter to something that is meaningful to you (and so you don’t confuse it with the factory presets). Then just drag it into the Library, in either the Particle Emitter or Favorites category. You should see it appear as a preset that will be available in any project on that computer.
