  • How do I place multiple Jpegs on timeline at 7 seconds each?

Posted by Frank Manno on July 21, 2005 at 1:24 am

I had 300dpi digital camera stills on a CD that I need to put on the timeline at around 7 seconds each.

I remember seeing a setting somewhere about a default duratiion for this so that I can put them all on
the timeline in one hit and have them all be 7 seconds long. Anyone know where this setting is?

Or was it a script? If so, which one?

Also. Is 300dpi too high in resolution? What’s the best res to use on jpegs for video?

You can go to “Options”, “Editing” and set the length for each picture and then amount of overlap (if you want that.

    It’s both:

    Preferences>Editing> New still image length.

Or Excalibur has numerous tools for setting event durations and relationships (gaps and overlaps).

Use Exalibur all the time for just this.
Paid for itself many times over.
