Please, How do I open layers of an Illustrator file into Photoshop or After Effect? I have created a very complex ullustration and I’d like to animate it in After Effects, but when i import it in After effecst every]thing is flatted on a single layer…

Import as composition (change footage to composition in dialog box) in AE.
