How do I open an XDCAM file in Vegas?

I do too. Yet it still does not work.On another slant – you mentioned above that your clients sent you ProRes files. I wasn’t aware that Vegas Pro could handle ProRes.
Since when? I am awaiting client sending some Prores files to test with.

May 25, 2013 at 6:47 pmIt’s not particular to Vegas. At some point Apple included the ProRes decoder in QuickTime. You still can’t encode but at least you can read them.

I have QT Pro 7.7.3 installed, so that should do it…
