How do I make a window burn of running Time Code over clips in Premier 6.5
Hi, I am new to this, I am not even sure I am asking in the right forum.
I have a project that runs several hours long and I want to have the time code, or rather the numbers from the time line, supered over the screen so a client in a diferent location cas view a DVD and can make edits and tell me at what word and what time to cut out or cut in. Hours, minutes and seconds are fine, don’t need frames.
I am using PP 6.5, and TitleDecco. This project is two streams of video with a Picture in Picture transition runnling the full length so the client can see two cameras on screen at the same time.
There must be some easy way, other than recording the whole show and playing back the Beta or DV tape with “Data” on the screen.

Premiere Pro 2.0 has a timecode option you can turn on, but no earlier version does. You can create a timecode clip with After Effects, or download one from Mike Velte’s site:
https://www.video2stream.com/timecode2.zipPlace the timecode movie in a track above the rest of your video, and make sure the background is transparent.
