How do I know what media from the bin is getting used in the timeline
Is there a view or means to see which bin media is used in my project and what isn’t?
I have this huge list of clips and a long timeline. Can Premeire tell me what media didn’t get placed?

Go to the window menu of the Project Panel and select Metadata Display. Twirl down Premiere Pro Project Metadata and enable Usage Video and if you want Usage Audio. OK
Now go to the Project Window and you will see which clip has been used and which one has not been used. -

Thanks for your reply. I am using CS4 and under ‘Window’ in the menu bar I only see Metadata. Enabling that, I see a list of possibilities but a twirl-down for Premiere Pro Project Metadata isn’t available. Am I looking in the wrong place? I see no other available window.
