    Thanks for all the advice everyone!

    So the advice in this thread boils down to this.

  • Use Apple sideways scrolling mouse (easiest for me)
  • Use arrow on bottom of timeline
  • Hit H and use hand tool

    He’s just a kid. the correct terminology would be “keep the focus.” It is a neologism for user interfaces that have multiple concurrent modes or multiple concurrent windows but Elijah has used it inappropriately here.

    Whew, good thing some of us can read his mind.

    The sad thing is that we’ve been doing this long enough to understand… no matter how media terms are misused.
