  • how do I ingest P2 from a contents folder?

Posted by Roli Rivelino on May 16, 2010 at 4:50 pm

I’m just wondering if I send a P2 contents folder to someone, what’s the process to ingest, is it still log & transfer or something else?

Also is it OK to send the contents folder as a zip folder, will it effect quality?

    many thanks

Yup, that’s it. If they have FCP. Guessing they do. This is the workflow:

ZIP is fine…not sure how much space savings it will get you. Video files don’t compress much.
