    Hi,

I have received video files that I need to open in Media 100 Producer version 13.0.3. The files were created with a Panasonic camera shooting P-2. According to the M-100 web site I should be able to import a P-2 file, but when I did only the audio work, the video screen was black.

Knowing that the P-2 files might be an issue, I had the shooter create DVCPRO HD version of the shoot for me, but they won’t play either, just audio – both in M-100 and Quicktime Pro version 7.6.0.

Also, what is the highest version of Quicktime that can be used with M-100 Producer 13? Last year I up graded from version 7.6.0 and M-100 would not work anymore. I had to uninstall the newer quicktime and go back to 7.6.0. – Will QT version 7.6.9 work with M-100 Producer 13?

    Thanks for your help,
    Robert

Do you have the Apple DVCProHD codec installed on your system? This is required for the playback. If not, let me know.

    Good Morning Floh,
Thanks for helping me out! Aa it turned out I did not have the codes for DVCPRO HD. I downloaded “CalibratedQ” version and I can now play the P-2 files both in Quicktime player and in M-100 Producer 13, but I can not put the video clips onto a timeline in M-100 to edit them. I had to export the DVCPRO HD files one at a time as a DVCPRO50 file and then re-import them to be able to get them on a timeline (a lot of extra work, but I am glad to be able to get to work on my project).

Do you know of any 3rd party software that would let me edit DVCPRO HD files in M-100 Producer 13?

Thanks again for you good advice,
    Robert
