  • How do I get Premiere CS3 to use Audition instead of Soundbooth?

Posted by Daniel Sorensen on May 2, 2008 at 3:09 am

Hello, I installed Audition 2.0 after installing the CS3 suite. I can’t seem to find any way to get it to default to using Audition instead of Soundbooth.

Is there a way to tell Premiere to use it, or is there a workaround?

    Thanks much

    Dan,

Once I edit my sequence I export just the audio then open it up in Audition … After I edit the audio then I replace the original in the sequence with the edited clip … Now that it is an audition file all you have to do if you need to edit is to open it in audition, make your changes, save it and the copy in PP will reflect the changes … It sounds like a lot of extra work but it will only take an extra minute or two ……………..
