    Hi guys,

Im having trouble with the colour matrix of my video files and have been advised to change it from rec.601 to rec.709, but where do I find this information about the file and how do I go about changing it?

Also, I’m told that the colour matrix of my videos is unspecified and unflagged, causing problems with colour when uploaded to Youtube. How can I flag these parameters myself so that Youtube knows what its working with and does it correctly?

    Do you have After Effects?

You can change to Rec.709 in After Effects in Project Settings by selecting that color profile, though I’m not sure if that can be done in Premiere.

If you were willing to link an AE composition with Premiere, you could easily edit in Premiere and grade in AE without too much bother.
