  • How do I feather edges of a crop?

I cropped an image with the pan crop tool.

On the left hand side menu in the pan/crop tool I selected ‘Streatch to fill frame = NO’ so that I can crop IN. (otherwise it zooms in when I try to crop).

So now I have a square on my screen. How do I feather the edges of this square?

As a workaround, I tried to do a crop with the MASK tool instead because I know how to feather with the mask tool,. Problem here is, I can’t make a square with the mask points!

    I’m really stuck.

A simple way would be to add a Border FX set to feather. You may need to click on the little triangle next to the word “border” to the left of the border FX timeline.
