  • How do I fade up one word at a time in Da Vinci Resolve 16?!

    Hi there,

Please someone help me…going nuts trying to work this out.

I’m making a short video which has several title cards in, and I’d like to fade one word up at a time, in fairly quick succession. A pleasing reveal of the words on screen one after another.

Some of these title cards feature over 25 words so I really don’t want to do it the old way of making 25 different text cards and manually fading them up one by one! I’m sure this is very do-able in Fusion, I just don’t know how to use it yet.

Can anyone help with a clear explanation of what I need to do in resolve to make this effect happen?

My deadline is fast approaching and I’m panicking a little.

    Many thanks,
    Alex

Did you end up finding a way to do this?
