How do I Exclude/Bypass a mask on a specific layer?

    EX: I have 4 layers

    1 Mask
    2 Layer 4
    3 Layer 3
    4 Background (MASK EXCLUDED)

and I dont want to apply the mask effect up on layer 4, how do I do that?

    Thanks

so layer 1 is an adjustment layer with an effect on it? if so, it will affect all layers underneath it – why don’t you precomp layers 2 and 3 and then apply the effect to the precomp?
