ok, as im fairly new to all the features and techniques with after effects im a bit lost with how to do this bit.

i want to apply a yellow tint color over the footage without having to mix all the colors up to get yellow.

i thought it was adding a mask, then i thought adding layer, then i thought rotobrush and then i gave up lol.

    help.

There are a bunch of ways to do this.
    Here’s one:
Add a yellow solid layer above your footage.
Change the mode of the solid layer to multiply.

Fair enough but ‘Tint’ is the one you want. Short of that stick an adjustment layer on the top and throw some ‘curves’ on it. I’d still go with tint though…..
