How do I create a clear material with blue edges?
Hello, can anyone help or point me in the direction on how to create a transparent material with a blue edge as shown in the photo attached. I’ve tried lowing opacity but doesn’t offer the same effect. Many thanks

To start I usually use a fresnel on the opacity channel and the colour I want in the diffuse. Which renderer are you using?

Hi Justin, I’m pretty new to C4D so am still using the renderer that is included. I’m quickly realising that a third party render is the way to go but think that’s some time off. Is this effect still possible or am I getting ahead of myself?

C4d’s standard is great and works the same far as this technique. Start with this and tweak the Fresnel settings to you liking.
