How do I create 3D coins
Hi there. I have after effects six and would like to make some 3D coins. How do I give them a bit of an edge rather than just being pixel thin planes? Is it possible withouit buying third party plugins (as I have no money to do so, is it possible to import the coins from another 3D application, as I can easily make them elsewhere. Thanks in Advance for your advice.

cant you bring in eps files into zaxwerks – should have came with AE depending on what version you have.

ahhh…only have 6 and no zaxwerks unfortunately.
I see from their website that it would indeed be perfect.
any other ideas for someone working in a whole world of obsolete. -
There was a tutorial about “Adding Z Depth” to your logo and It worked for me by letting me take a round logo (coin shaped) and was able to give it a little thickness. and spin it
