  • How do I control where Trim Edit Window pops up?

When I press the Trim Edit shortcut the dual-window pops up. But it pops too much to the right on my screen. I then move it to the middle, where I want it to be. But next time I want to use Trim Edit, the window again pops up too much to the right, and not where I placed it last time. It looks like the Trim Edit View is align-locked to the left margin of my Viewer. How can I make FCP remember my view-locations?

You can’t change it. It always aligns to the viewer. If you position the viewer where you want the trim edit window then it will work.

    All the best,

    Tom
