    Hi,

Seems to be my week for technical hurdles!

I have a been sent a DVD from my client which he wants me to edit down. The files on the disk are:
    VIDEO_TS.VOB
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VTS_01_3.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_0.BUP

How do I extract them to work with them in FCP?

    Thanks

DVDs can be ripped and converted to an edit codec by MPEG Streamclip

    Thanks

I have converted using MPEG Streamer to ProRes to edit as I guess this is the best to edit from?

I have also got SDHC cards that have the following files on them:
    PRG002.PGI
    MOV007.MOI
    MOV007.MOD

    etc

and another folder labelled MGR Info with:
    PRG_MGR
    MGR_DATA

    and another MISC with:
    AUTPRINT.MRK

How to I open and extract these files?

They will be used in FCP and the final result with be SD DVD for an American audience, which I have never done before!

Don’t know what those other file formats are. I have heard of .MOD. Perhaps a search of this forum plus Google will help answer that.
