How do create an alpha channel?
Hi,
I am looking for a tutorial that shows the process of creating a clean alpha channel by using on of the RGB Channels. I hear this is a great way to cut out people from backgrounds when they have lots of thin hair strands.anyone got a link?

Link to an old tutorial, which should help you out. My book “Photoshop for Digital Video” has a much more detail and 3 tutorials of progressive skill level to make you into an expert in dropping out backgrounds.

If you have PSCS2 load the video actins in the actions palette
