I was browsing through different web design site and came across this effect:

    https://www.templatemonster.com/flash-intro/11198.html

I’m not sure how the designer created the effect where the particles intereact to create the invisible sphere. It seems to even orbit it a bit. I’m pretty sure it was created in after effects, but I’m not sure what plugin or actually what program they used for sure.

If any one can help me out or better yet point me to a tutorial that will help me achieve this effect, I would really appreciate it.

    thank you ahead of time.

    Hi Ben,

To me, that looked like Trapcode’s Particular plug-in: the particles seemed to float along a motion path and then distorted around a spherical field (one of the subsettings of Particular). A more experienced poster here might be able to confirm, but I’m not aware of an easy way to get that same sort of motion without something along the lines of Particular.

You should also look into Trapcode Form. They have a very easy sphere and strings particle field. When combined with 3D camera movements, Form can create some really complicated design elements.
