  • How did I make a person disperse into particles?

    Hi,

Well, about three years ago I did a promo for a boxer and I made his opponent disperse into tiny little particles when he got hit.

I can’t re-construct that incident to save my life.

I thought I did it using Particulars but instantly when I open Particulars, it goes into the emitting stage wiping out my image completely.

In other words, I’m trying to go from emitted particles to an image of a person, opposite of my last creation.

    Help!

Trapcode form will do the trick.. Go into red giant tv and look at the tutorial for dissolving text into sand, use same methods on a person.

    Cheers

If your subject is green screened, you could use Effects>Simulation>CC Scatterize, then fade out the particles after they’ve scattered.

Whoops, I just reread your post. You could use the same plugin I said above, just start with Scatter at a high number, then keyframe it to reduce to 0.
