  How did I get AVCHD and XDCAM into CS3?

  Hello, my friend has premiere pro CS3 and cannot import footage that is AVCHD or XDCAM. I thought I’d give him a hand sorting it out and to my surprise my CS3 already had them. I normally use FCP and have an EX1 camera and installed the XDCAM transfer software on to my mac. Does this automatically make these codecs available in CS3?

  I just want to work out how I did it for my computer so I can help him out.
