    hello guys

    Im trying to add some interactive in flash to a video that I
    already have prepared in a file .mov

    can some body advice me witch is the best way to convert and at the same time compress
    the file.. from .mov to .flv or .swf .?

    I will like to use the result video interaction to upload in a web site

    H.264 .mov works fine in Flash. There’s no reason to convert to if that’s your source. .swf is the player/wrapper you create when building your interactivity.

    Are you telling me that I can open a .mov in flash and start to add interactions, buttons etc?

    Yes but the .mov must be H.264. It’s the only .mov codec that works natively in Flash. If the file is another codec all you have to do is convert to H.264 though. Just make sure you target the data rate you want but Quicktime Pro, Final Cut Pro, even MPEGStreamclip (free) can do that. Flash became officially compatible with H.264 .mov in Dec 2007.
