  How come when I open an auto-save file, nothing seems to be connected?

  Occasionally, as FCP 7 does, the program crashes. I open an auto-save to get my work back, but without fail, the auto-save bits are all disconnected and I need to reconnect everything which takes forever. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
