    What are your options?

It could be possible that you have a setting on the image that restricts the number of options for saving the file e.g. the mode of the image. What is the mode setting? Perhaps it is still possible to use File –> Save for Web…

Another way to save a gif as a jpeg is change the mode to RGB instead of indexed color. Image Menu > Mode

    Hi mate
Listen you dont need to download any plugins
I had this problem aswell when i started out……..
If your saving files in either RGB or CYMK anything more than
8 bits/Channel wont let you save as a JPEG file…..
so theres your answer, go to
IMAGE-MODE- and just make sure the 8 bits/channel is ticked

    Hope This helps you
