When I open my RAW footage in Premiere Pro, I get a much cleaner, better image than in Resolve.
The details in the shadows and the colours look much better to me.
Ive tried to get there in Resolve by starting with BMD Film but its really really hard.
The best settings seem to be Rec709 color space with sRGB gamma, but then the dynamic range in the highlights starts to fall apart.
Why is this so? Is there any way to get the nice Premiere Pro like image with the BMD Film dynamic range?
Please take a look at the highlights in the face and the background:

Are you judging on the computer screen or an external reference monitor via a Decklink interface?

I’d have to see your Raw settings. There’s a hundred ways to affect image quality in the Raw settings.

    [Urten Ekran] “calibrated computer screen.”

If you are judging purely on the basis of the screen display then you may be simply judging the way the software scales and adjusts gamma to display rather than what the software is actually doing to your image.

If you render the image to an identical codec file from both applications and then compare them in a different application do you see any actual difference?
