    I am inspired by this motion background and want to know the technique behind this particle sliding effect. I have checked various settings in Particular but as of now, I am not being able to figure it out.

    One thing I could think of was to use a light on a motion path but then it would only create one streak of particles sliding on a path using a light source as its path, whereas in the example video these are probably several dozens of streaks from left to right.

    It’s been a little while since I played with motion paths, but I don’t think it forces every particle down a single set of coordinates, I’m fairly certain each particle will follow its own motion path based on its origin point.

    Have you tried a really wide emitter and one motion path?
