  • How can you make a mask look natural and blend with the video?

    Hello all.

I am editing a concert and need to add a sort of old look image on it so i have created a nice mask to make it look like 8mm movies mask’s. After render it, i realise it does not look natural with the footage in the sense that it looks like there are two different things, like i have shot through a glass, like there are separate footage.

I have tried the blending mode “Multiply” but it does not look ok. I need to make something as to make it look natural, as to think the mask is part of this all.

Is key-frame tracking a solution? This being a concert with camera on the tripod there is not too much movement on the footage.

Any suggestion is welcomed and links too.

I am reading about it, but do not where to star since there are so many ..Smart Mask Interpolation, Tracking motion, etc and i do not know what is the good one.

    Thank’s
    G
