Activity Forums Adobe After Effects How can you get the light effects in this video?

    It looks like it was a pre made background they just slapped behind the text. You can easyily make that in ae.
    Maybe take a animated background you have and scale it to the size you want and use directional blur. There
    are allot of ways to achieve that and it basicly involes you creating it from scratch or just messing with an old one(background).

    It looks like AE’s Glow was used to bloom the edges…

    The streaks are a preset in Apple’s Livemotion. The “light rays” are Trapcode’s Shine plug-in. But I would avoid both looks unless you’re going for a old clich

    the light streaks ould also be CC Light Rays, which comes with AE. It;s not anything near as good as Shine, but I think you could get that very effect with CC Light Rays.
