    Holla! 🙂

I’ve tried appzapper and removed fcp but when i try to reinstall fcp it says it only is upgrading it and when it’s finished and I start the program and it loads you can see that it’s registered to me with my previous sn. Then it tells me to go to this anti piracy website and download a dmg file?

And I have tried the FCP remover app also 😛

    hxxp://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcs_remover.htm

I’ve have come a bit with the help of others…

Quote: “There are two ways to do this. The first requires that you insert the install disc and go through the following procedure to identify the installed files.
    1) Insert the disc and double click the install icon.
    2) Click to let the installer check your system
    3) After the installer opens, click File > Show Files (Command-T)
    4) Click the disclosure triangle next the the app’s name to show all the files installed, then select all of them
    5) Choose Edit > Copy (Command-C)
    6) Open a text editor & paste the list
    7) If you have a pri nter connected, print
    8) Make sure you delete the file/folder in the exact location indicated in the list”

Quote: then my answer to this is:

when i try to reinstall it it tells me that all apps will be installed, but not fcp where it says its going to be updated.(!!) correct me if im wrong but doesnt this mean now its only fcp that has still some files on the hdd that i have to get rid of?

“4) Click the disclosure triangle next the the app’s name to show all the files installed, then select all of them
    5) Choose Edit > Copy (Command-C)
    6) Open a text editor & paste the list”
here’s my problem, i cant select moore files then one(?) and since im new to the mac i cant navigate any good in the hdd..ive tried via spotlight to search for the files which are in the list ex:

    ./Vector Shape.bundle/Contents/Resources/Vector Shape.rsrc ./Title Crawl.bundle/Contents ./Library/Application Support/ProMediaIO/Components/MPEGLayer2AudioEncoder.component/Contents/Resources/MPEGLayer2AudioEnc oder.rsrc ./Text Scrambler.bundle/Contents/MacOS

are all these dir ories in the hdd/library ? Because i can’t find them.. 🙁 Maybe I’ve posted in the wrong thread, and if so I’m sorry 🙂

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English 🙂
Have a nice day in the sun!
