    Hi there,

If I create a small animation, let’s say the letter A spinning inside a vector circle, is there a way to wrap that up as a single object I can multiply on the stage as many times as I want (have 10 of them in a grid)? I know I could precompose but then I would lose the ability to scale or 3d rotate the animation from the parent comp.

I would definitely want to be able to edit the animation just once and have that change reflected in every instance of it

    Cheers

[Robert Maric] “I know I could precompose but then I would lose the ability to scale or 3d rotate the animation from the parent comp.”

if you click the ‘continuously rasterize/collapse transformations’ switch for that pre-comp layer, you should be able to scale or 3d rotate the pre-comp within the main comp. it’s the switch that looks like a little sun or spikes ball in the timeline (when switches are visible).
