  • How can I modify Timecode?

    Hello,
Is there anyway to modify the timecode of a quicktime file without having to do it within FCP’s Modify>timecode function?

The reason I ask, is because FCP is adding some unwanted metadate when it’s putting the modified timecode onto my quicktime files, and when I go to color them using iridas speedgrade, speedgrade no longer accepts the quicktimes.

It’s frustrating, but, it’s what I’m dealing with. So, anybody have any ideas on how to re-stripe timecode to a quicktime outside of FCP?

    Thanks!
    -Joe
