How can i make very sharp looking menus in DVD Studio Pro
Hey guys,
I am in dire need to make my DVD menus I send out to clients look sharper. I have imported PSD files for my menus, and have also tried to use After Effects as a medium. I have exported a non-compressed .mov from AE as well as an Apple Animation codec. Is there a process to make these menus look sharper (especially the text) Or is this simply problem with DVD Studio Pro. Please help, This menu has to be done by Monday the 25th

Hard to say without seeing the menu itself. Maybe the text is too small? You need to encode your menus in Compressor first, THEN bring into DVDSP.

Yeah post an example- 720×480 on even the best monitor can only look so sharp. Use big text without a lot of sharp edges and avoid red and other broadcast unsafe type colors. Also be sure to design at a higher than 720×480 resolution then scale down for best possible antialiasing.
