How can I get this reveal effect?

When you watch the video at 0:09~0:14, The logo of “snow drop engine” is revealed.
I tried with plexus but, the points are drawn on outline of the characters, not inside of character.
I’ve also tried with cc ball action, and it didn’t go well too.TBH, I never managed to get sci-fi look like this one too.

I would appreciate, How can I get that glitchy blue sci-fi or something like that effect.
Or maybe tips for sci-fi effect… Thank you 🙂 -

The first example can be replicated if you use a couple of instances of Venetian Blinds combined with a couple of Directional Blur, color grading and scaling.

It’s not dots, rather rectangles. Use one instance vertical and one horizontal on a precomp of the logo you want to reveal. Animate masks and blurs inside the precomp to reveal areas of the logo in and out and the one other instance of the logo comped on top for the final reveal as the layer underneath settles in.
