  • How can I deinterlace stills taken from a Qtime?

I’ve exported stills uncompressed but I don’t know how to use Qtime’s deinterlace function. I don’t have FinalCut or Photoshop. Can I do it with Qtime alone?

Still images are not interlaced so you do not need to deinterlace them.
that’s the correct answer but perhaps you are asking the wrong questions.

David, that’s completely wrong, when you pull stills from video very often there are terrible interlacing lines in the stills, which can be cured with a video filter in Photoshop. So unless I’m missing something in this thread…

    Have a wonderful day.

There’s all kinds of scan lines bleeding from one object in the image to the next, isn’t that an artifact of interlacing?

    Get Photoshop Elements.

    All the best,
