How Can AE CC create holes in Ray Traced Extruded Shape Layers?
This is something that should be solved easier than the workaround that I have to currently use:
when creating the logo text I am currently forced to create a small cut in the shape layer in order to create the holes for a, o, etc.
Using the latest version of AE CC 2014.
Mac Pro 4.1 8 core
36GB of Ram
Nvidia Quaddro FX 4800, flashed to 1.8 GBThanks for any help on this.

BTW, I often successfully use the old trick of Just using the stroke and turning off the fill, while that works great in a variety os situations, I can’t seem to make it work for hand-created Logo Shape Layers? And that seems really odd to me.
